Homeschool and Youth Open Climb

During the school year, youth have the opportunity to join one of our climbing clubs or teams to continue or deepen their climbing skills.

The Rock Mill Climbing Club is a program where young climbers learn basic climbing techniques, how to fall, and climbing related fitness.
The Junior Team is a competitive climbing team (both bouldering & top-rope) designed for athletes competing in the D and C categories of the USA Climbing events. Athletes will practice twice each week to advance their climbing technique, learn new skills, and improve their fitness. Team members will compete in multiple local events both in bouldering and on top rope. Team members are required to have a USA Climbing competitor memberships.
Team Rock Mill is an advanced competitive climbing (both bouldering and top-rope) team designed for athletes competing in the B, A, and Junior categories of USA Climbing events. Athletes will practice three times a week with the team as well as climb 1-2 times a week outside of practice. Team members will work on competition mindset, advance their climbing skills and technique, improve their fitness, and should have a goal of advancement in USA Climbing events.
