THE PLATEAU

If you’ve been climbing long enough, you know what it’s like to hit a plateau. You’ve been cruising along, making progress every climbing session, climbing harder and harder routes each week… and then, you don’t. You’re still climbing, you’re just as psyched, but the gains stop coming and you start to wonder what’s gone wrong.

You’ve hit a plateau, a perfectly normal stage of the climber lifecycle. This is the point where you decide if you’re going to stick with climbing, or go back to whatever far less satisfying form of fitness you engaged in before. It can be a frustrating time, but we are here to help!

PLATEAU BUSTERS SERIES

The Plateau Busters is a series of workshops ranging from 2-hour intensive workshops to 6-week programs that lead you through structured, climbing-specific training. We’re also planning mobility, strength and recovery workshops to keep your body and mind primed for the send.

TRAINING FOR CLIMBING

6-Week Series
Members: $150 / Non-members: $200

Are you ready to push through your climbing plateau? Rock Mill is excited to offer Climbing Strength Training, a 6-session intensive course designed for climbers of all ability levels who want to create personalized training systems for continuous improvement. Developed in collaboration with Camp 4 Human Performance, this course is perfect for climbers at any stage, whether you’re tackling V3 or V13.

BOULDERING II

April 30th // 1:30pm – 4:00pm
Members: $50 / Non-members: $75

The first workshop of our Plateau Busters Series focuses on climbing movement and technique. This 2.5 hour workshop will walk you through different climbing techniques that will help you maximize your strength and movement on the wall. This instructional, hands-on workshop will give you direct feedback and strategies to make use of in your daily climbing sessions. You will walk away with an understanding of how you can train through your plateaus and learn to evaluate your climbing progress in new ways.

MIND+BODY // YOGA FOR CLIMBERS

2-hour Workshop
Members: $25 / Non-members: $35

Dates coming soon. Explore how yoga and mindfulness can help you push through your climbing plateau in this hands-on workshop. From pre-climbing warm-ups to breathing techniques, you’ll walk away from this workshop feeling refreshed and mentally ready to work through your projects.
